So. I'm taking a gap year.

I miss my friends from college, but despite that, I think I'm happy, and that I'm gonna be ok.

Now I just really need a job...

*hugs* It is going to be all right. It is going to be JUST FINE. Lord knows I took forever to finish my BSc, due to health problems, but the only thing that matters in the end is finishing. Being responsible and taking care of yourself and putting your health first is the mature and adult thing to do. I am very proud of you. *sends chocolate and marzipan and kittens and tea*

I really hope everything works out for you, my darling. Job hunting is a chore, you have my sympathies. If you need any tips or just someone to commiserate with, I am at your service!

You should come up and visit sometime or something :D

Thanks hun! God, I am already sick of my own CV and I fear I shall have to see/print/email it quite a lot more before I find something. At least I have ads to answer at the moment - I'm just a little bit scared about what to do if I run out of places to apply before someone wants me O.O In the meantime though, I'm going to take a leaf out of your book and look for charity shop volunteering opportunities too, to gain experience and have something structuring my days a bit more :)

I hope I do get to see you sometime, even if the glittery one isn't present. I had another quick look on ebay today, where the cheapest tickets to see him are still £75 each! Which I can't even consider before I find a job, and maybe not even then. Oh well. Chin up!

Good luck with the job! I've been looking for a while without much luck, but I haven't been entirely in earnest, so hopefully you'll have a better run of it.

Amen for the being okay. Enjoy that gap year. ♥

Thanks - I probably need it! I need one pretty soon, otherwise I'll have to start claiming benefits or something, which I don't want to do if I can avoid it.

But there are lots of other things I want to do other than work on my gap year - write for one! - so yes, I think as soon as I have some form of monies coming in, I will enjoy this year :)

I took a gap year between GCSE and A Levels! It was totally the best thing I had ever done and I never, ever regretted it. I'm sure you won't either. It feels like a brave decision and it is, but I promise you'll be all the better for it.

I am pretty excited - there are so many things I want to do, and just knowing that I'm free to do them is pretty awesome! Once I have some form of job, then the good times will roll, and I'm sure that this time next year I'll be a much more rounded person for it :)
