Bit of a place holder post

Basically, there was a lot of parties and fun times, interspersed with slightly less good times, a bit of misery, disappointment, panic, frustration, flirting and paranoia. And a lot of rushing around, and not at all enough sleep. So, a pretty average week really...
Oh, I should really write something lengthy about Doctor Who. For now I shall say only, last night's was good, I'm pretty happy - keep up the good work Moffat!
ARGH I still haven't written about The Demon's Covenant yet. Well, thats damn cool too, and deserves a proper post about its awesomeness. Which I have no time to write now. My brother is happily reading it next to me at this very moment though, that's kinda cool :)
Anyway, here is a pleasant, positive meme thing I saw on t'flist:
We as women far too often and far too easily denigrate our own bodies. So for once, why don't we have a little love in? Comment here with wonderful things about your body. Start little and if you have a lot to say fill the comment box with love and joy and celebration.
Then maybe turn around and get your flist to spread the love on your journal. Pass it on. Share your beautiful selves.
Some things I love about my body include:
My eyes – they change colour, but are always awesome.
My legs - are in excellent shape.
My eyebrows – are naturally kinda arched, which rocks.
My skin - is beautiful; I love its natural colour, particularly on my torso.
Now you guys!

Date: 2010-06-21 12:13 am (UTC)My hair: It is straight, and so many curly-haired people are jealous of it. It is also soft and the strands are crazy thin. And the color is awesome; it is mostly dark-brown, but in the sun, sometimes it is red/orange/yellowish (not yellowish as in, gold, but yellowish as in light-brown-not-really-brown). It is extremely low-maintenance too. Whoo.
My eyes: They're dark. :D My eyelashes are short and stubby, but I don't care, because I like my eyes. Plus my glasses (old ones; I am not sure about the new ones as they have not arrived) bring out the color in them.
My skin: I am told I have good skin. I think my brother has good skin too. But no one has complimented him on it. Which would be a little creepy, in his opinion.
My arms: Muahahaha. I feel strong.
My wrists: They are lovely and thin and I think they're a result of piano-playing.
My hands, sometimes, when I am playing piano, because I am told I have lovely hands that are ever-so-graceful. (And that, is a result of my piano teacher yelling at me to curve my fingers and stop putting my wrists into the forte parts.)
My neck: even though it has two scars that I cover with my hair. But I like it anyway because there's no reason to hate it.
Haha, I have made such great progress. :D
