or revising, if I have to be awake. But NOOOOO. Because I utterly fail at revision. But, I totally win at pancakes, so there. There is balance in the world.

I'm in the middle of my mock exams. Yesterday I had two RS papers. Tomorrow I have one scary giant three hour paper. Thursday two English papers, Friday three politics papers, followed by muchos alcohol. [Which, if you were wondering, does NOT improve revision and therefore should be consumed AFTER exams and not on Monday afternoons when one is supposed to be rereading Paradise Lost.] Today was my only entirely free day. I told myself I would do LOADS of Politics revision [MASSIVE SUBJECT] with a bit of Hamlet thrown in to spice it up.

Did. Not. Happen.

Revised about half a unit of Politics [EU- eurgh, more like], didn't touch Hamlet.

Instead, surfed around tinternet, reread an actual book or too, watched four most recent episodes of Heroes, improvised and made beautiful, excellent pancakes, watched Juno.

BTW, new Heroes episodes, besides not really having anything to do with "Villians" volume seem much much better- THANK GOD. I really lost all faith and hope there along the way, but the pacing is better, the actions of the characters fairly reasonable etc. It's really rather looking up, which is terrific. Am soooo shipping Sylar/Luke btw, now that I have actually discovered who Luke is, and also totally rediscovering Nathan/Peter hoyay. So, if this is the good that comes out of Pushing Daisies being cancelled, then thank you crazy people that keep cancelling popular shows.

Randomly, two friends both proclaiming how much they loved Lily Allen's new album simultaneously through the medium of Facebook. I feel strangely possessive of this album; where were they last week when I was all excited and squeeing and nobody cared, hmm? Pssh. [NB; am not actually possessive of album. Share the love!]

Adore the Merlin/Arthur fanvids of Solanyxe, especially "Popular" and "La La". Playing them often- they are seriously good, not only for the slashy goodness [and oh! what hot, gorgeous, slashy goodness exists therein!] but the editing and clip selection is very very good.

Finally, am very glad that Kai Owen is now going to be at the Hub after worries that he had to cancel, now he's back on board. :D Gah, two and a half weeks away!

I couldn't possibly pick a favourite track, I think it's turning out to be the very occassional album where I like all of the tracks, even on her first one there were a couple I would happily skip over but this time every one is so great. I tried just now to write out a few of my favourites but it basically became a track listing :P Just love the whole thing so much!

If it makes you feel any better, I have done fuck all about Politics revision. Really. Couldn't have done less if I tried. My line of thinking was that my life is so completely rubbish anyway, what harm will a little FAIL! FAIL! FAIL! in Politics do?

Kai Owen's back? YES. YES. Brilliant. See, you've gotta be optimistic about these things, and not moan the entire time about how so completely rubbish your life is. C'mon. That's just pathetic.

I'm very happy that Kai Owen is back, not only because I want to meet him and possibly try to hug him, but because this means that whatever "personal reasons" they were rearrangable and so prob not serious and/or awful.

You're right, 'tis good it wasn't too serious. My somewhat crackish theory was that "personal reasons" actually meant "me and Gareth fell out at Gallifrey One, and now I hate his face". Looks like they kissed and made up!

From memory, Kai Owen gets very huggy during photoshoots. Even if you don't ask for a hug, he sort of... drags you into one anyway. So go for it!

And oh, oh, oh! You have to play the game wherein you see how long it takes for Kai Owen to offer to buy you a beer. It's brilliant. You can say anything, and he'll almost certainly bring it in at some point. Such examples include:

You: "It's my birthday."
Him: "I'll buy you a beer."

You: "Have some Maltesers!"
Him: "I'll buy you a beer."

You: "I love you."
Him: "I'll buy you a beer."

You: "I'll buy you a beer."
Him: "Ta. And I'll buy you a beer."

I think it's his method of expressing affection.

Yeah, I was really disappointed by the turn Heroes was taking. It's getting better though. I still want Matt to wrap Mohinder in his arms and tell him he doesn't care that he's a scaly monster.

Volume 1 was so amazing, and then Volume 2 was alright but Volume 3 was just unbelievably bad, each week I would be like "It can't possibly be worse than last week" and then it was! I very nearly didn't bother to watch the new stuff, exact I had seen some Sylar/Luke fic around the place so I wanted to know who he was, and now I'm pretty glad I did because I am actually excited about it again. Matt/Mohinder is so endearing :P

I agree with your assessment of it wholeheartedly. I love Matt/Mohinder so much. Partly because for whatever reason I usually only find gay or biracial couples interesting and partly because they were so damn sweet and domestic. When Mohinder is holding Molly and looking directly at Matt to say, "I'm here to stay."

My mom watches Heroes and is a total secret slasher. She yelled, "Rachel come here! Heroes is getting really gay!" And rewound so we could watch the scene like three times while giggling madly to each other.

This is true.

Unless you revise whilst drunk, and then take the exam drunk, because situational learning means you are more likely to remember it.
