ANONYMOUS QUESTION MEME.

Leave a comment with three questions you'd like to ask me. Absolutely anything - I'm serious. And I swear to answer truthfully.

Please do! This looks like it would be really interesting- but will only work if you'll ask me some questions!

1. What's your greatest aspiration?

2. Who do you think is the greatest figure from history?

3. Do you think there's ever been a book that was made into a film and ended up working better than in novel form?

Tricky...

1. I've joked around about politics, but honestly, the only ambition/aspiration that I've been even nearly consistent about is my desire to be an author. So I guess it depends on what you mean by greatest ;)

2. This is very hard. I'm gonna go Winston Churchill, not only because of WWII and my family, but because he managed to get back up after Gallipoli, and that's pretty impressive.

3. Twilight! Unfortunately, most of the movies I've seen after I've read the books haven't been as good, and many of the movies of books that I've seen that I've liked a lot I haven't gone on to read the books. I'm a bad person like that...

Haha...

Genuinely though: provisional driving license, debit card, oyster card, bus pass, library card, school library card, slice card, top up card, two loyalty cards, taxi card, a bracelet, five fortune cookie fortunes. And y'know, some money :D

1. What most frightens you about going to Cambridge?
2. Which aspect of your personality do you secretly think is great?
3. Which contemporary adult would you most like to resemble in, say, 20 years time?

1. Honestly-- I'm not sure I want to go to Cambridge. I mean, I'm very flattered that they want me, but it's becoming a bit like what some people are saying about Obama; you remember really liking it but apart from peer pressure you can't actually remember why.

So, I'm pretty damn terrified that by some miracle I'll actually get there-- and then realise that I'm not only somewhere I don't want to be, but that I'm surrounded by people that are crazy happy about it and won't understand for a moment that it isn't what I want, and that I'll feel like crap for taking a place away from someone just as good but more committed.

Also, that I'll get there and not be able to handle the work and fail everything in the first semester and get thrown out in disgrace. But I figure practically everyone fears that.

2. I think my sense of humour is pretty great, but that's not really a secret. Maybe that usually I'm pretty good at empathising and am good at helping my friends out when they are depressed; I like to think I can give good advice.

3. In 20 years, I will be 38... argh. I have no idea. I have a general idea of where I want to be in my life by that age, but resembling an adult?? I'll try to figure someone out and get back to this question if I can come up with an actual answer.

At a guess, if you came across a song or album called 'One Man's Meat', what would you think it was about?

I know I promised to answer truthfully, but c'mon! *shakes head* While I might think of various other things it could refer to - is the man a butcher?- no, I'm pretty sure I would think it was a song about a certain appendage. Is it? Have you written it?

So not what the meme is about, btw, tchuh...
