I'm still on the huh!? stage I'm afraid.

I must admit I am curious as to what francise is going to visa vee the whole 'he can only regenerate twelve times so there can only be a max 13 doctors'.

I expect it depends on the state of the franchise by then, who's writing it etc. I hope the issue doesn't come up for a while, that they would have signed 11 up for a decent number of series since 8 and 9 were so short lived.

But the Master found a way to have more than 13 regenerations, so I guess canon can allow them to do it if they have to.
