IN FACT, THAT WHOLE EPISODE WAS IMMENSE.

MORGANA! ARTHUR! UTHER! GWEN!

THE SLASH DRAGON!

GAIUS!!

AND, NIMUEH WAS SO SO AWESOME AND AMAZING.

I LOVE HER.

I WANT TO BE HER.

I'm not sure how they would be able to bring her back though *sob* BUT, FREAKING EPIC.

OH, and on the slash front? Aside from Merlin's various attempt to die for the three people he loves, that scene where he was trying to say goodbye to Arthur and is talking about what a great King he will be someday was clearly cut from the cloth as the bit earlier on when Gwen does basically the same thing. And this is, of course, because both are involved in such legendary love affairs with Arthur.

But yeah, the whole ep was just BRILLIANT. There was this bit at the beginning when Morgana was screaming and hysterical and flailing trying to stop Arthur going to his death and it was heart stopping, she was so desperate and incoherent and afraid. And then later, Uther's misery and sorrow and desperation and love for Arthur was just palpable. I was sure he knew Gaius and Merlin must be trying to use magic to save Arthur but let them anyway.

And speaking of Arthur... BRADLEY'S SHIRT WAS OFF. OH YES IT WAS. AND HIS CHEST IS NIIIIIIIIIIIIIIICE. 

The very end, also?

EXCELLENT.

I AM SO EXCITED!! CAN IT BE NEXT YEAR ALREADY PLEASE?? PLEASE!!!!


Because YES, THERE WILL OFFICIALLY BE ANOTHER SERIES.

IN CONCLUSION:

FREAKING YES.
