Oxford is great, I just wanna get away... and since I've pretty much ruled London out entirely on grounds of expense, there is only the Cambridge point of the Golden Triangle left. No idea about second or third choices or colleges or anything yet though. I've got it into my head that I want to do Religious Studies at Cambridge and then convert into law, and I'm so so happy because I haven't been so sure of anything since I realised that a law degree would kill me. [though just to check I'm spending a week learning about Law and Cambridge and studing law at Cambridge. But I'm pretty sure.] Also, if I got in a) FOOTLIGHTS!!! and b) I would never be able to lose the boat race. For that I would forgive them for punting the wrong way around.
Thank you :D Gotta aim high. No idea about colleges or the other four choices yet though. But it seems like a good place to start, especially since I ruled out London and Oxford prett much ruled itself out. How are you finding student life?
Insane, actually. Really cool, but really different, and a hella lot of work. XD So what else is new?!
Why d'you rule out London? I mean, it's looking like I won't go to England after all, but most of the unis I applied for where in London. 'cause I love London. <3
Oh I love London, but what I figured is that you can't get a higher grant or better loan or whatever if you are going to uni in London than if you are going anywhere else, but the cost of living is so much higher, ergo lower standard of living. But if I got into Cambridge I'd be going into London all the time-- just not trying to live there.
