altogetherisiAs I type this, I think I'm just about over my shell shock. I got to my dad's car before 5 past midnight having been the third in the queue, the second to the tills and the first out of the shop, running and screaming up the road. I got to my bed by 12:15. I didn't leave my room until 1pm [bathroom] and then again at 3pm [lunch- all I said was lamenting how nobody else ie my brother had finished yet, and that I couldn't possibly talk about anything else]. Finally, my brother finished at about 4pm, having only got the book that morning, and by this point I was able to talk again.
I am very, very happy with JK Rowling, and just wish I could meet her, hug her, and thank her in person. My trust was not misplaced.
I don't think I can put off this any longer, so here goes.
Firstly, I got LOADS of stuff right!! So, yeah! And the stuff I didn't get right were perfected by her. I am so so so happy that Harry ended in that way. And, she explained and left great holes for fic, and it was so rich-- its much smaller than OotP, yet so much more happens, its so full of different things. I feel that justice was done, completely. Totally happy and satisfied, and occasionally deliriously happy still.
Actually, I don't think I could write anything more right now. Maybe I'll come back a little later on and make some proper spoiler points and opinions.
