Guess what came in the post today

 OK, well, if you follow me on Twitter you may have noticed that today I received and read The Demon's Surrender!

I was really rather excited. BECAUSE IT IS AWESOME AND HEART WRENCHING AND CRAZY AND FUNNY AND BRILLIANT. 

No spoilers here - long spoilery post sometime soon probably. But for now, just - YAY! I am happy to have it, and happy with what it contains :D

SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE. OH MY GOD I REALLY LOVE THIS BOOK. YOU GUYS. YOU GUYS. IT IS SO GOOD.

Other posts I keep meaning to write include
- I went to Hay festival (it was lovely)

- I saw X-Men First Class (and have all these feeeeelings)
- Doctor Who was pretty damn good. Oh Moff, such a genius writer.

Yes! Actual Darren Criss! I'm so excited!

He's doing four shows in London (in two days!) and I was desperately trying to get tickets and his stupid management or whatever has booked silly small venues that sell out insanely fast and all the ticket sites were being evil and I was actually DESPAIRING. And then an absolutely awesome person on LJ had bought spares, and so I am giving them a good home. It's gonna be TOTALLY AWESOME.

I am so jealous. I want TDS. D: My friend hasn't gotten it for me yet, I think she just hasn't gotten around to doing it. And she's never online, so I can't harrass her. Aaaah.

And I kinad want to see First Class... but I watched PotC instead. (I'm not really sure about X-M: FC though, because I tend to like the younger mutants more, like Pyro, and I don't think they make an appearance. Do they? I don't think they were born yet.)

I'm sure you'll have it soon! Apparently in America it only comes out tomorrow anyway, so you're hardly late to the party, don't worry :) IT IS MASSIVELY WORTH THE WAIT THOUGH. SOOOOO GOOOOOOOOOD.

Definitely go see First Class. I saw POTC4 too the other day and found it pretty disappointing tbh, but thoroughly enjoyed X-men. Pyro et al aren't born yet, so no they aren't featured, (my favourite is X2, I feel your pain) but there are other teenage mutants you might enjoy, plus y'know the main event of Erik and Charles' beautiful manly love and epic tragic man pain are a wonder to behold. Plus Mystique is pretty badass. And there is muchly interesting possible ships. Oh yeah and superpowers. And fighting Nazis! Many good things :D
