Eurovision

 Listening to the guy that should have won Eurovision - Eric Saade, from Sweden. Love this song. Stupid Azerbaijan, not even in Europe *grumbles* Blue did well enough, and not embarrassingly well which I think would have actually been than them doing embarrassingly badly, so I guess that's nice for them. And Jedward! Sweet, adorable Jedward! Came 8th I think, which is great. God knows where those two will go from here though - Eurovision really seems like their natural environment. 

Still a crime that Bulgaria didn't get to the final. Their song is great.

Due to someone not being able to come, I now find myself with a spare ticket to see David Tennant and Catherine Tate perform Much Ado About Nothing in London on Monday night. It's opening night, stalls, ~£60ish. Comment or PM to let me know if you want it!

Oh yeah and. DOCTOR WHO WAS BRILLIANT.  Expect I'll post about it properly tomorrow. But yeah. So. Much. Love.

I wish I could go see Much Ado with you, but even aside from the fact that I am almost as far as you can get from London without leaving the country... I have exams. I really should be doing this revision thing slightly more...

I would love beyond words to come to see Much Ado with you, but I have meetings with lecturers all day and I really don't think I could legitimise spending £60 + train fare in one night, even though it would be amazing and incredible and I'd get to see you. :( So I won't be able to, but I wish I could! And I hope someone is able to. I remain very jealous of you. :P

It's funny, when the Swedish entry first happened we spent most of our time telling them to put Eric back in the box because he was irritating us, but by mid-way through voting we had totally converted and were gunning for him! Though I was sort of hoping for Italy; loved the jazziness! And also Denmark. And Finland, who was adorable. BASICALLY EVERYONE APART FROM AZERBAIJAN, UGH.

I've gone beyond mere words in my love for Doctor Who. It was the BEST. <3

I've found someone now. I would have loved to go with you though! It's a problem time, the vast majority of my friends are busy revising for exams of some sort, and few people aren't strapped for cash (including me, which was why I couldn't afford to give the ticket away free). I do hope I'll see you soon though!

Italy wasn't my kind of music, but I liked the attitude of it, sweet and fun and a bit different. Aw, Eric is so pretty. I looked it up on YouTube and think the properly produced studio recorded track is much better than he was at performing live, and yeah, I guess I do just like that kind of music so. Finland was so saccharine, eurgh. Bring back Lordi. That's the true spirit of Finland right there! Azerbaijan were so dull. And they aren't in Europe. And I am clearly bitter. I can't remember who else I liked - Estonia? Were they good? Or perhaps they were awful. I should watch some of them again. My twitter feed will remind me which ones were good at least!
