Mock exams

Oh how I hate exams.

Yesterday I got up at 2.30am. I had two exams that day- Eng Lit 1 and Maths 1. Yes that's right-- ONE. Suggesting that there is more than one. In act, I have a total of SIXTEEN EXAMS when I'm doing nine GCSEs. Not counting Drama, but who ever does? But 16 exams in two weeks???

It just ain't right....

I have four English, two Maths, two History, two Geography, two RS, one for each Science, and French. Gah. At least there is study leave for mocks- I had my firt bit this afternoon and it was cool but really surreal. Needless to say I haven't done any studying yet, but that is because I am brain dead and exhausted.

Anyway, so yesterday I got up at TWO THIRTY which is just stupid really. Eng Lit was ok I think- I didn't really conclude my Blake essay and it was a bit weird, but so are his poems so that shouldn't be against me. Hardy was well, harder, but I think I did quite well or someone who still hasn't actually read the book. I promise that I will before the actual exam, but its just soooo boring and bad and I hate it and eurgh... Maths was mostly ok, but I didn't get answes for a few of the harder ones and there were probably some idiotic mistakes as per usual.

Today my alarm went off at 3, after which I turned on my super bright bedside light and went back to sleep for another two hours. It is this that I blame or my lack of knowlege for my two exams today, Biology and History 1. I was so worried about how I don't know at least a year of the course from Year 9, let alone whether I knew anything that had been taught to be, that I didn't even laugh at Mr Hobbs when he came in to adudicate. Most of Biology I either knew or just didn't, and since it was so long I left quite a few blank spaces. There was this one question about why lemming poopulation might go down that I had no idea about, and I was so tempted to write something about them running over cliffs, but managed to restrain myself...

History was okish, but I was, as usual, pushed for time, and I also didn't know didn't know the details about the Versailles Treaty that I needed, or enough about Britain in Word War Two. So more studying is necessary I eel. And also, must redeem myself in the eyes of Mr Lisher and do well on my other paper. But at least in the real one we'll have more time; 1 hour 10 really isn't enough, and the next one is 1hr 30 for two sets of sources and two essays.

I was intending to do a load of revision this evening, but I am so so tired I can barely function, so it doesn't look like I'll be doing much of anything at this rate.

I can't bring myself to care.
