Meme!
Your house: Slytherin, though actually, I have a sizeable Gryffindor streak lol. But I certainly identify as Slytherin - I'm a plotter, ambitious, some what er, superior and um, rather comfortable with morally grey. I can be a right bitch, and hold grudges liek whoa. Plus I love snakes haha. Gryffindor qualities though - I'd fight tooth and nail for what I believe to be the right things, and would do pretty much anything for my friends; I'm stubborn and can be impulsive, and don't like to back down from challenges.
Your favourite character from the trio: Harry. No question. I do have love for Ron and Hermione too, of course I do, but honestly it's always been Harry, Harry, Harry.
Three other favourite characters: Wow these are really predictable lol!
Draco Malfoy - Oh my gosh, Draco. My bb. Always trying to impress, never quite good enough, reckless and talented and so much potential and then oh so suddenly completely out of his depth and terrified and doubting everything.
Severus Snape - Snape, Snape, Severus Snape. Absolutely brilliant. I would have preferred him not to have turned out to have been in love with Lily, but I think JK handled that very well anyway, so whatever. I will never forget the near panic attack I had working through HBP spoilers - the world was a very different place for Snape and Snarry lovers before that book came out, that was for sure.
Neville Longbottom - There's no question really is there? I loved Neville when he was a woobie, not taking off the Sorting Hat and forgetting the passwords (man, I forget my passwords all the freaking time!) and not being popular and with his unfashionable name and unfashionable pet and being scared of Snape and trying to warn Harry about getting rid of Norbert and breaking china in Divination and being quietly excellent at Herbology and going to visit his parents in St Mungos and his determination in and enthusiasm for the DA and the way he fought like hell in the Department of Mysteries and and and. For finally getting the chance to show everyone how awesome he actually has always been by fighting back and leading the resistance at Hogwarts in the seventh book. And just, his everything.
Least favourite character: Um, I'm not really sure - one of things I've always loved about Harry Potter was the nuance of the unpleasant-horrible-evil characters, so even the ones I would hate in person I tend to really appreciate as characters and revel in a bit. So I guess I need to pick a character I neither care for nor is special, but is main enough to come to mind... um... Well, maybe Crabbe, for being pretty uniformly awful and never showing any signs of a personality. And for nearly killing Draco and Goyle, only his best friends for seven freaking years, because he is just cruel and stupid.
Favourite canon ships: Hmmmm. I don't put much energy in the canon ships, though I've noticed I ship Ron and Hermione more strongly now than ever before, so them I suppose. Molly and Arthur, what a marvellous marriage. Lucius and Narcissa.
Favourite fandom ships: Oh, boy. Harry/Draco. Harry/Voldemort. Harry/Snape. Harry/Lucius. But also, I had a lotta lotta love for the minor characters, so they got paired up together a lot too!
Favourite book: PoA. No, HBP. No, PoA. Oh god, why must I choose.
Favourite moment: Harry casting his corporeal Patronus for the first time at the climax of PoA. Just that moment of him realising that no, no one else is coming to save you, don't wait any longer for someone else to save you, but it's ok because you can do the saving yourself, because you are freaking awesome and exactly what this situation needs, just right yourself, you needn't be someone else, you can step out of being compared with your father because you aren't him but you are just as good and you are here and you are what's needed and you are totally capable and in fact, right now, you are absolutely perfect. That moment is really beautiful to me.
How were you introduced to the series: I was in Year Three, so about 8, and I was the kind of student that, lol, was really rather clever and also didn't mess around and that the teachers could trust to get on with things (what happened to that 8 year old?! Gosh, she wouldn't recognise me!) We were learning about estimating in a Maths lesson, and everyone made a guestimate on... how many words were on a certain page of Harry Potter and the Philosophers Stone, which was the book being read to the other Year 3 class but not mine at the time. As one of the cleverer and more trust worthy children, the teacher picked me to take the book and go just outside the classroom and actually count how many words were on the specific page. I remember getting really frustrated with myself, because instead of counting the words I kept just reading them instead, and went several pages before I noticed I was failing at my task.
What would your favourite lesson be: Goodness, all of them! I think probably Potions, because it'd would fascinate me and I think I'd actually be rather good at it. But also Charms and DADA look like good fun.
Favourite Professor: McGonagall, because while I love Snape as a character, he's hardly a great teacher. I think McGonagall is just marvellous and a wonderful role model. I really like that as the books go on and Harry matures, he comes to appreciate her more and more as well. I'm so glad they gave her some space to demonstrate her awesome in the final film.
Which Hallow would you take? The Cloak, duh. The wand is a cop out anyway, since it is possible to defeat it even in the hands of it's true master, but yeah, I wouldn't want it personally anyway, I'd rather have a wand that was personal to me rather than one that had been passed down from thieves and murderers. The Stone does nothing for me: I'm lucky enough to not yet have any loved ones I would seek to recall from the grave, but yeah, I also find the idea of doing that really pretty skeevy and yeah. I understand the temptation on the part of others, but I'm not cut out that way, I just wouldn't ever do that I don't think. Whereas the Cloak, dude! The adventures I would have while simultaneously invisible and impervious to death! They would be awesome. Also, the Cloak is the only one more than one person can use at a time, so its sociable!
Which character are you most like: Harry. At school when I started the books people would have said I was like Hermione, and by the end of the series/my school life, my habits were more like Ron, but always at my core I've identified with Harry. Also, a bit Draco I suppose.
Three spells you'd like to perform: This question is so random.
Accio would be really useful, because I'm lazy, but also because I lose things in piles of mess, and also because I am short and could use it to get things from high places without embarrassment.
Serpensortia would be awesome, because I love snakes, but can't really handle the responsibility of a pet right now, so I could just have a snake whenever and then get rid of it again when I was done without feeling guilty.
Sectumsempra because I have a vicious streak. I should be nice and pick something lovely like Expecto Patronum or pick something easily reversible like the Jelly Legs jinx ("I can't believe I didn't guess the counter was just Un-Jellify!"), or like, Petrificus Totalus is a good defensive spell that doesn't actually do harm to your enemy. But yeah, no. Sectumsempra is pretty epic.
Would you have entered your name in the Goblet of Fire? Hell yeah. Abso-bloody-lutely. Sign me up! Even if I would have had to risk a beard or whatever.
Would you have played Quidditch? Yes, man I hope so. I have good balance and pretty fast reactions so I think I'd be a decent flier, and Quidditch is such a crazy game, I'd love it. Plus, this is not a sport where being female or being small is an automatic disadvantage, nor does wearing glasses prevent you from being the best Seeker in a century. This game is the best.
What form would your Patronus take? Really not sure. Maybe a cat, I identify pretty damn strongly with cats - sometimes I just want to go off and do my own thing, sometimes I want to demand cuddles, and I would suit an animal both with fierce claws and teeth and capable of doing that cat "who, me?" expression lol. I enjoy going out hunting at night, but also sleep is one of my favourite things and I really appreciate it when other people sort out/provide regular meals XD

What would be your profession in the Wizarding world? I hope I could be good enough at something to be a teacher at Hogwarts. That way I'd never have to leave.
