Oh Hallelujah

I have a job. Thank god.
It's part time, two afternoons a week, so I'm still going to keep looking for another one at the weekend. But. I'm just so so relieved. There will be some monies!
I think this means I have even less chance of getting an internship, but so far that's just been dreaming and rejections, so. This is very good.

Also, Glee is back. Yay! I've missed it like, a lot.
Not enough Kurt, but plenty of Karofsky, and Darren Criss had another lovely song showcasing histotally awesome for no other particular reason. I know I shouldn't like Karofsky but oh, I do. Angsty bad boy bullies that turn out to be gay are always going to appeal to me (blame years of Draco Malfoy fic!) Blaine is so lovely and perfect though. And of course I don't want to lose Darren Criss ever/anytime soon, so I hope they stretch this storyline out. For the rest of the season at least, at any rate. *hopes*
There was a good amount of Rachel, ie some but not much, and I just love Lauren, such an excellent attitude. Now please Glee: GIVE MERCEDES A STORYLINE. Even Tina has been allowed more space, though so not enough - can Mercedes, awesome, confident, and waaay talented Mercedes please have that same amount of attention. Please. C'mon.
Interested to see Quinn and Finn getting closer again - I like Quinn, and I want her to be happy. Though I still sadly remember her "No more boys!" idea that lasted, oh, one episode? Finn and Rachel suit IMO though because they are both so annoying though. But I wouldn't mind seeing Sam and Quinn break up, because I quite like Sam but I think their relationship is kinda creepy (and also, I have issues with two people that are both that incredibly blonde dating, it weirds me out.) and Sam is still way too into trying to be popular for my taste. Maybe if Quinn isn't a cheerleader anymore he'll go off her.
I do still have hopes that Sam might turn out to be bi. Fading hopes, but yeah. I'll be over here reading the slash, don't mind me. Finn was less annoying this ep, so if he stayed like that I wouldn't mind him getting back with Quinn. Except I suppose Rachel will whine even more. Hmmm. Could be good, could be bad. I'm glad Finn and Puck are going to be friends again. Maybe Puck can get back with Rachel. Oh who knows.
Thriller was a great performance (oh, Karofsky looked so happy, my heart) and I loved loved loved Darren Criss doing Bills (Bills, Bills? IDEK). It was nice that Puck got to sing again, but apart from nearly beating someone with his guitar it was quite a dull, regular performance. The one thing that really annoyed me was the Cheerios thing at the beginning, mainly because I hate that California Gurls song and because my computer wasn't happy with the streaming at first I had to watch it, like, five times. Not cool.

Other TV stuff - Skins is back with a third generation. I'm intrigued but not sold yet. (My dad loves it. O_O )
I do think that the writers managed in Rich a very interesting character - that's what people are talking about with realistic flaws, because it was so frustrating watching him, and at times I wanted to smack him for being an idiot and arrogant and misogynistic and self centred and a dick, basically, but I was still rooting for him and wanting him to be better. And he really did seem like a real person. Up himself, but yeah, you know, people are. So.
Franky... I want to like her, and I kinda do, but I dunno. I think they stretched suspension of disbelief a bit too much in the first episode, so I need something a bit more down to earth, some realism, to bond with her character. (And also, I was kinda hoping Franky might be FtM transgender, but at the moment it looks like she's just a girl with interesting style, which is fine but still, a bit of a disappointment.) Nice to see gay dads. I really want to know about Alo though - does he live in that van? What's up with that? And also, I want the mysterious hot guy to come back, because he was hot (not so bothered about the mysterious stuff. Just his cheekbones, plzkthnx.)
Is anyone watching Episodes, the comedy with Matt LeBlanc playing himself? I like it.
Oh, and Being Human is pretty awesome! Though, um, last nights ep made squeamish me turn away in horror a good few times. Just... ew.
